¡¡

Choosing the right lender is very important because you will have your loan for a
long time. Consider these things when selecting a lender:
• Is the lender a for-profit or nonprofit organization?
With a nonprofit organization like SC Student Loan, you’ll receive
borrower benefits that most for-profits can not offer. These benefits are
things such as having no upfront application fees, incentives for
graduating, lower interest rates, and flexible repayment plans.
• Make sure the lender will not sell or transfer your loan to another lender
once it is made.
If your loan is sold, you may have a harder time getting in touch with your
new lender when you have questions that require immediate attention. At
SC Student Loan, loans are never sold to a third party. You can always
count on us to assist you and provide professional loan counseling
regarding your account.
You can select SC Student Loan as your preferred lender even if your
school doesn’t identify us on their lender list. All you need to do is notify
your school’s financial aid office that you want to use SC Student Loan.
